Do you want to stay with an English speaking family in a family-centered community?   Westwind has an
in-house accommodation department that ensures your needs are met and your concerns dealt with in a personal and timely manner.  A Westwind Homestay provides a safe, friendly and secure environment for our students, while giving them the chance to experience and enjoy the local culture of Powell River, British Columbia.

Don and Charlene have been welcoming students into their home for the past seven years and have a picture wall dedicated to their past students.
The home is busy, fun and never boring.

Ed and Shona, along with their daughter Brittany (age 16), have been opening up their beautiful home to international students for many years.  The Panek’s have a very spacious, beautiful, warm and welcoming home.

Brad and Lisa are a new Homestay Family, eager to open up their home to students and learn about other cultures. The Tonks are able to provide a clean, spacious and safe homestay for students.  They are looking forward to showing their students around beautiful Powell River.

Bob and Cathy McLean are a retired couple who love to host students from around the world and have been doing so for many years.  They love to take their students on outings and tours around Powell River.  They make their students feel like they are a part of their family.
